"Raptor Love Stories" has all the joy, drama, tenderness, sorrow, humor, and devotion of a classic love story. Raptor style! Enjoy an informative, inspiring, and entertaining show this Valentine’s weekend. Proceeds go to the conservation of endangered cheetahs and African painted wolves through Ellen’s current work with San communities of the western Kalahari in Botswana.

Presented by Ellen Donoghue, PhD
Ellen Donoghue, PhD is a conservation social scientist whose 25 years of research and applied work focus on collaborative wildlife conservation and community-based resource management in a variety of countries around the world and the US PNW and Alaska. Blessed for having had wonderful human mentors, Ellen admits that the enduring constant and most influential teacher throughout her life has been her connection to wild places. Outdoor enthusiast, former wilderness guide, and competitive dog musher in Alaska, Ellen is someone who is weirdly at ease in ecosystems of 20 degrees below zero, hot, humid tropics, or the Kalahari desert – as long as the landscape is wild.
